Premera has updated our behavioral health approach to allow the PHP (Partial Hospital Program) and IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) virtual care as standard benefits effective January 1, 2021. Applied behavioral analysis (ABA) is allowed in a virtual setting until such time as government agencies no longer recommend social distancing. Premera’s current end date for allowing ABA in a virtual setting is March 31, 2021.
