Starting in May 2022, Calypso is sending out updated refund request letters. Calypso is the overpayment recovery department of Premera.
Between May 1 and June 30, Calypso statements will be suspended and replaced by the letters. We’ll then return to the
usual statement format with all monthly requests on one statement. This effort helps us reduce our carbon footprint by reducing printing and mailing and streamlines work for providers and Premera. This won’t impact FEP, Individual, Shared Administration,
or Medicare Advantage.
