AIM Specialty Health (AIM) changed its name to Carelon Medical Benefits Management on March 1, 2023. This is a name change only. There will be no changes to the way providers submit requests or the contact information to check status. You'll continue to use the same secure portal at www.providerportal.com.
Please make note of the following changes:
- The website for www.aimspecialtyhealth.com will redirect to Carelon as of March 1, 2023.
- If you have bookmarks saved for AIM, be assured that the current URL for AIM automatically redirects to the Carelon URL. Redirects will be in place for 2 years.
- The secure portal URL, www.providerportal.com, is not changing.

Guidelines
The guidelines website and email address used by providers to submit questions to the guidelines team have new addresses. All previous links/emails are automatically redirected to the new ones for Carelon. This information will be included in all guideline update communications for health plans and providers.
Carelon (formerly AIM) sent name change transition notices to all registered Carelon portal users on January 31 and March 2, 2023.
