Starting September 1, you’ll submit all new online referrals and prior authorizations through Symphony. After September 1, you’ll still have access to the current tool Jiva, but it will be limited to ‘view only’ access to allow you to check the status on historical requests.
Symphony will streamline your workflows by improving the prior authorization and referral online submission process.
- No more checking codes from a separate list. Code checks will be part of the submission process. When you enter a procedure code, the system will tell you if a prior authorization is required or not.
- No duplicate entries. When you enter a request, Symphony will tell you if there’s a similar request in the system before you submit to help prevent duplicates.
- No change to your sign-in process. You’ll access the tool through OneHealthPort the same way you do today.
