On May 17, 2022, FDA granted emergency use authorization (EUA) for one booster dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11. The booster for children ages 5-11 is the same strength (10 mcg/one-third dose) as the first 2 doses for this age
group.
