We’ve contracted with InstaMed to deliver electronic fund transfers (EFT) and electronic remittance advice (ERA) for our individual plans. This is only for our individual plans. The EFT and ERA process for our other lines of business will remain the same.
Are you already signed up with InstaMed? Many provider offices are already signed up with InstaMed and currently receiving payments and electronic remits from other payers. If you’re already receiving EFT & ERA’s from InstaMed, that’s great! You don’t need to do anything. You’ll automatically start receiving EFT payments and ERA reports from us for our 2020 Individual plan claims. If you’re signed up with Premera for EFT or ERA reports, but not InstaMed, you’ll need to sign up with InstaMed to receive EFT and ERA reports for our individual plans.
Not signed up yet? You have three simple ways to register for free ERA/EFT from InstaMed:
- Online: Visit www.instamed.com/eraeft
- Paper: Complete this online form, and fax it to 877-755-3392
If you don’t sign up you will receive a check payment in the mail.
