Provider Directory Survey

  • September 19, 2019

Premera regularly surveys our network of providers to ensure the information we display in our directory is accurate. Our next survey will be sent later this month and it’s important that you review it for accuracy, acknowledge its accuracy or indicate any fields that need to be updated, and send it back to us, even if you don’t have any changes to report.

There are many reasons that your response to this survey is critical, including:

    1. Ensuring that our members can easily find and contact you to make an appointment for the care they need.
    2. Compliance with Washington State’s Brennen’s Law (HB1099) effective January 1, 2020. The bill is intended to make it easier for patients to find the behavioral health and substance use disorder care they need. This bill requires health plans to post specific information about panel status of mental health and substance abuse providers, among other things.
    3. Helping people find providers that offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as part of their care plan for substance use disorder. This is new information that Premera will make available to our members on our directory, so it’s particularly important that we receive your survey response.

Look for this survey in the next week. We ask that you return this important survey as quickly as possible so we can update our directory to support our members.
