Based on feedback from providers, AIM has updated their provider portal allowing users to see the order ID on all their authorization requests, not just approvals. An order ID is a unique tracking number used to request, search, and view the status of
a submitted authorization throughout the lifecycle of a case.
This change creates a better provider experience in tracking the status of authorizations and was implemented on AIM’s portal on December 4, 2021.
