New Member Engagement Program

    Premera has launched a new member engagement program. Our goal is to educate and motivate our members to receive the right care at the right time, including preventive care, health screenings, and chronic disease follow up. Our first two initiatives focused on screenings for common forms of cancer, supporting early detection and treatment that can make a difference in survival.

    In March, we ran a multifaceted colorectal cancer screening campaign, including emails and letters to members past due and due soon for screening. Weekly social media posts on Facebook and Twitter included links to an educational blog.

    In May, we launched a women's campaign and sent emails and letters to members due for breast and/or cervical cancer screenings. If you're interested in learning more or obtaining copies of the materials sent to your patients, reach out to MemberEngagement@Premera.com.
