Members will receive personalized communication about monitoring their asthma and diabetic HA1c testing this summer.
Members in Washington and Alaska will receive one of the following communications from Premera in August:
- A letter with detailed information about controlling asthma. This mailer differs from the asthma mailer sent in April as the mailer sent in the summer references the dangers of wildfire smoke and what to do if you find yourself having to inhale it
for extended periods of time.
- A scorecard for diabetic HbA1c testing
- The scorecard has personalized messaging. If members have not received a test, more information about it will be printed. Likewise, if members have received a screening or test, a quick “congratulations” message
will be printed.
