Premera Blue Cross contracted providers are now able to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT) for Federal Employee Program (FEP) payments.
Replacing the daily payment schedule, EFT payments will be made on Tuesdays and checks will be mailed on Wednesdays. We’ll continue to print and mail paper Explanation of Payments (EOPs) for claim reimbursement for services provided to FEP members. Update: (6/3/2019) We’re aware that paper EOPs for the Federal Employee Program (FEP) are currently arriving in the mail up to 14 days after direct deposit (EFT) payments are posted. We’re working on this issue and appreciate your patience.
If you’re a current EFT participant, you’re automatically enrolled in the EFT for FEP claim payments and no further action is required. If you’re not yet signed up for EFT, you’ll need to have an EFT administrator role with OneHealthPort and your tax ID number (TIN). Learn how to sign up for EFT.
If you have questions, please call Physician and Provider Relations at 877- 342-5258.
Note: FEP payments are tied to National Provider ID (NPI). If you have more than one account associated with your NPI, EFT may not work for you.
