We’ve updated our Medicare Advantage prior authorization list. Here’s what you should know:
- We now have one list that includes all medical and pharmacy Part B codes that require a review.
- AIM will manage reviews for additional codes effective January 1, 2019.
- The new list includes links to AIM and Optum’s website if they’re delegated to perform the review.
- Due to Soundpath Health’s Medicare Advantage contract acquisition, there are a few instances where we have different requirements for some of our plans. These are clearly marked on the list.
- The new November Policy Update is now available to view.
Because of all the recent changes, we recommend you check the list before you provide care so you can submit any appropriate requests.
