New Claims Editing System

    As of this month, we're using new claims editing software for your Medicare Advantage claims. Starting June 5, all Medicare Advantage claims will be processed or reprocessed using the new editing software. As a result, edits on your claims may look different.

    We've changed from McKesson ClaimCheck to Optum Claims Editing System (CES). We already use CES for our other lines of business, so the edits might look familiar.

    The Claim Connection tool, located on the secure Medicare Advantage provider landing page, will be down for a few weeks while we make updates. Once it's back up, it will accurately reflect any changes to edits. If you have questions about an edit applied to a claim, you can call Medicare Advantage Customer Service at 888-850-8526.
