Seeking behavioral health services can be a daunting experience. The simple task of finding a provider can quickly become not so simple. Matchmaker™ for Behavioral Health by Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska is our solution to helping members access the care they need by matching them with providers who meet their unique needs.
When a member is ready to find a provider, they can call Premera customer service or case management, complete a member intake over the phone, and the Matchmaker team curates a list of providers that is delivered to the member in three to four business days.
Matchmaker for Behavioral Health is included for fully insured and OptiFlex groups as they renew effective January 1, 2024.
Beginning January 1, 2024, self-funded groups can opt in to Matchmaker for Behavioral Health with per list pricing. Self-funded groups can save more per list by bundling life or disability products with Connexion Insurance Solutions.
