Premera Blue Cross and Premera Blue Cross HMO are working with Rx Savings Solutions to give our members additional transparency into their pharmacy benefit.
Who qualifies for Rx Savings Solutions?
Groups who have a fully insured or OptiFlex plan from Premera Blue Cross or Premera Blue Cross HMO will have Rx Savings Solutions automatically beginning August 1, 2023. Self-funded groups can add Rx Savings Solutions beginning January 1, 2024.
How Rx Savings Solutions works?
Rx Savings Solutions layers on top of a patient’s existing pharmacy benefit and health insurance. It finds lower-cost prescription drug options that are covered by the patient’s plan and provides the member insight to those cost saving opportunities.
