Your Premera health plan covers preventive care visits with a doctor. But your employees might not know what’s covered during that visit.
To help members understand what’s covered, two experts from Premera were guests on King 5’s New Day Northwest to talk about surprise costs.
Melanie Anderson, customer service manager, and Tonya Owens, provider engagement manager, provided tips on prepping for a preventive care visit–plus offered ideas for finding out what customers can expect to pay for any follow-up tests their doctor recommends.
