    When your clients receive routine preventive care, their Premera health plan pays for the services—they don’t! Encouraging your clients to get these routine exams is one of the best ways to help your clients avoid serious health problems and additional healthcare costs.

    Here’s a list of things to mention when talking to your clients about preventive care:

    • Premera covers in-network preventive medical care in full on all our plans.
    • Preventive services may include screenings, vaccinations, and medications.
    • They can get the full preventive benefits list and guide to using your benefits on our preventive care page.
    • Bringing the preventive care list to their exam can be helpful in making the doctor aware of their coverage.
    • During your preventive care visit, if your doctor recommends other screenings or tests that are not considered preventive, you may have out-of-pocket costs.
