The fiduciary option gives Premera discretionary authority to make decisions under the plan for the purpose of administration, processing, and determination of claims. This change applies to both Alaska and Washington markets. OptiFlex groups may opt out of these services, in which case the group will take on fiduciary responsibilities for their plan.
