Cost Shares Announced for 2021

    Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska mailed annual notice letters December 1, 2020 to all our Medicare Supplement members.

    Annual notice letters include 2021 cost shares from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The cost shares take effect on January 1, 2021.

    You’ll find links to the annual notices mailed to customers on our Medicare Supplement resource page for producers. The notices will post before the end of December.

    Changes to cost shares from 2020 to 2021

    The cost shares impact Medicare Part A and Part B, also known as Original Medicare.
