Cost shares for 2022 Medicare Supplement Plans announced

  • Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska mailed annual notice letters the last week of November to all our Medicare Supplement members. 

    Annual notice letters: These letters include 2022 cost shares from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The cost shares take effect on January 1, 2022.

    Changes to cost shares from 2021 to 2022

    The cost shares impact Medicare Part A and Part B, also known as Original Medicare.

    A reminder that the renewal date for Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska Medicare Supplement plans changed. We’ll mail 2022 rate information to customers in February 2022. These letters will also post on our Medicare Supplement resource page for producers
