Cost Shares For 2023 Medicare Supplement Plans Announced

    Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska mailed annual notice letters on November 18, to all our Medicare Supplement members.

    Annual notice letters: These letters include 2023 cost shares from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The cost shares take effect on January 1, 2023.

    Changes to cost shares from 2022 to 2023

    The cost shares impact Medicare Part A and Part B, also known as Original Medicare.

    2023 rate information letters will mail to customers in February 2023 and will also post on our Medicare Supplement resource page for producers. Rates will take effect April 1, 2023.
