In October, the Alaska Department of Health accepted recommended per child per month, and per adult per month vaccine rates for 2024. The new rates will become effective January 1, 2024. The current rates will remain in effect through December 31, 2023.
The 2024 vaccines rates:
- $14.89 per child per month
- $3.71 per adult per month
The rate increase for both demographics is a result of two key factors:
- Commercialization of the COVID-19 vaccines
- Inclusion of the RSV immunization (Nirsevimab)
