New for Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska members in 2024
Premera is knocking down barriers for members seeking behavioral health providers with Matchmaker™ for Behavioral Health. Matchmaker for Behavioral Health is a unique member experience solution that connects members with behavioral health professionals based on their plan, needs, and preferences.
Matchmaker for Behavioral Health experience:
- Member contacts Premera customer service or case management.
- Premera representative completes member intake over the phone.
- Matchmaker team curates a list of providers that is delivered to the member in three to four business days.
Beginning January 1, 2024, Matchmaker for Behavioral Health will expand to fully insured and OptiFlex small and large groups and will be available for purchase for self-funded groups of all sizes.
