Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska maintains the most extensive contracted network in Alaska.
We believe in working closely with doctors and hospitals to deliver for the customer together. That’s why we are committed to building and maintaining a sustainable provider network throughout the state.
Between October and December 2018, Premera signed new contracts with 18 providers throughout Alaska, bringing the statewide total count of physicians and providers in our network to 4,224.
Ways to save money
Premera members get the most value from their medical benefits when they visit providers who have a contract with Premera.
Members can find in-network providers and costs for some services with the Find a Doctor tool on premera.com. Premera members get the most accurate information on Find a Doctor when they sign in to their secure member account before using the tool.
