    We’re expanding into three more counties—Island, San Juan, and Walla Walla. Residents in 12 counties can now enroll in a 2020 Premera plan.

    Enhanced plans in each county

    We've improved two current plans and developed a new one so that all your clients in our service area can have an “enhanced plan” with comprehensive benefits.

    2020 enhanced plans:

    • Total Health: An amped-up plan offered in Spokane and Stevens counties.
    • Classic: An improved plan for King, Lewis, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston, and Whatcom county.
    • Core Plus: A new plan available in Island, San Juan, Skagit, and Walla Walla county.

    Expansive provider network

    Our Medicare Advantage members can see any in-network providers across all 12 counties. We have one of the largest networks with more than 16,000 doctors and specialists. Plus, members can travel with worldwide coverage for emergencies or urgent care. Check out our provider network guide.

  • We developed three templates for you to advertise your business in your local newspaper starting October 1, 2019. Each ad template is CMS-approved and ready to customize with your information. Select the template that works best for you!

    We bundled our most amazing benefits into an enhanced plan that’s available in each of the 12 counties where 2020 Premera Medicare Advantage health plans are sold. Depending on the county, our enhanced plan has a different premium and is called either Total Health, Classic, or Core Plus. But each enhanced plan has the same benefits.

    Here are just some of the benefits offered by each enhanced plan (Total Health, Classic, or Core Plus):

    • Max out of pocket of $5,000 per year
    • Hearing aids covered in full through Hearing Care Solutions (up to $1,000 per year)
    • Additional dental services allowance of $200 per year
    • Copays of $5 for PCP, $30 for specialist visits
    • Over-the-counter benefit of $50 per quarter (That’s $200 per year!)
    • Rx deductible waived on Tiers 1–3
    • $0 copay for 90-day mail order for Tier 1

    Follow these steps to sell Premera Medicare Advantage Plans for 2020:

    1. Complete the 2020 AHIP Medicare Advantage certification then sign in to Premera AHIP to automatically send your scores to Premera.
    2. Contact your FMO or a Premera sales representative for information on how to access our training program for the 2020 Premera Medicare Advantage certification.

    These printed enrollment kits have everything you need to enroll your clients.

    New info for 2020

    • All counties are consolidated into one enrollment kit.
    • Scope of appointment forms are included in every kit.
    • Sales brochures are region-specific and must be ordered separately to put in your enrollment kits.

    If you work with an FMO, they have placed initial orders for kits and will receive them the last week of September. Please contact your FMO or fill out the 2020 Medicare Advantage producer supply order form to get your kits.
