In February, Premera launched the Kinwell Participation Program for fully insured and OptiFlex large groups. This program offers the opportunity for employer groups to earn credit towards their next renewal.
Kinwell provides a one-of-a-kind primary care experience specifically designed for Premera members. With 17 locations across Washington, members benefit from an integrated care model that serves the whole patient including behavioral health, chronic care management, and more.
How the Kinwell Participation Program works
It’s simple. The more employees-and family members-who use Kinwell, the more credit is available. Credits are applied at renewal. For every 1% increase in Kinwell participation, employer groups earn:
- 0.1% in premium credit for fully insured
- 0.01% in wellness credit for OptiFlex
How groups can increase participation
We made it easy. Premera created a variety of tools including emails, posters, and a menu of events that can be used to promote Kinwell among employees.
