Producer Calls to Medicare Advantage Customer Service

    You asked and we delivered. If your clients need help with a plan question or issue, you can now call Premera Medicare Advantage customer service on behalf of your clients. We’ll follow the standard industry process for releasing member information.

    A customer service representative will review and confirm the following before discussing member information:

    • Member record review: Check to make sure you’re listed as the producer on record.
    • Producer verification: Request your producer information to confirm it matches the member’s policy or record (primary broker name, broker code, broker number, effective date).
    • Member verification: Check the following to make sure the information you provide matches the member file:
      • Member first/last name
      • Enrollee ID
      • Contract number
      • Medicare HICN or SSN
      • Member date of birth
      • Member street number, or full address

    Reminders

    • To get started, call the Medicare Advantage customer service phone number at 888-850-8526.
    • Customer service can only assist producers with general benefits and claims information. If a producer wants to discuss protected health information for their client, the member must be on the line and give verbal consent.
