With so many respiratory illnesses hitting many especially hard right now, it’s important your clients know that Premera offers in-home urgent care through a company called DispatchHealth. DispatchHealth provides urgent care services that a member would normally receive at a walk-in clinic or emergency room. The difference is members receive this care in their homes. The service is available to all Premera plan members who live in Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, and Spokane county metros. The cost is what a member would pay for their plan’s urgent care services.
What does DispatchHealth do?
- Delivers same-day care to members’ homes for urgent health issues.
- Arrives fully equipped to test and treat everything an urgent care center can provide.
- Available 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is in-network for all Premera plans.
How does it work?
- Members can check DispatchHealth’s location map, to see if their zip code is covered for the service.
- Members then call and talk to a DispatchHealth healthcare professional. They’ll ask about their symptoms, make sure their condition is appropriate for this service and give them a time frame for their arrival.
- Members receive a notification when the care team is on their way.
- The healthcare professional team arrives and spends an average of 45 minutes with the member in their home.

Luckily, if you live within Seattle, Tacoma,Everett, or Spokane metros, Premera has in-home urgent care services available to you. DispatchHealth will come to your home to treat you. The cost is the same as you would pay for your plan’s urgent care services. All Premera Medicare members have access to this benefit.
