Premera has a long-standing relationship with Melodic Caring Project (MCP), and we’re excited to announce that we’re expanding our partnership to offer their services exclusively to our Peak Care members! Check out the introduction video today!
Melodic Caring Project is an organization committed to providing support for children and families in isolation and quarantine. MCP provides hope through the power and medically healing properties of music. They connect musical artists to patients providing personalized, interactive, and therapeutic music experiences through personal shoutouts, performing songs, and other support.
Who the program is for?
Peak Care members of all ages – kids and teens, adults, family caretakers, and even Peak Care healthcare providers. It’s a resource for members going through medical challenges and those feeling the effects of social isolation that can cause feelings of anxiety, depression, and more.
When the program will be available?
Starting February 16! Employers that currently offer a Peak Care plan will receive an email introduction to this new program on February 16 in our Employer News. We’ll also send an email directly to Peak Care members (with valid email addresses) to introduce the program on February 23.
How to engage
Through the Peak Care Music Portal! Ways members can interact:
- Sign-up to be a MPC rockSTAR!
- Send a ‘thank you’ to your favorite medical provider by signing up to dedicate a song
- Access music 24/7 – stream concerts, song dedications, and interviews with musicians
- Check-out artist tributes from past rockSTAR requests
- Watch heartwarming rockSTAR stories
