Premera Blue Cross is knocking down barriers for members seeking behavioral health providers with Matchmaker™ for Behavioral Health. Matchmaker for Behavioral Health is a unique member experience solution that connects members with behavioral health professionals based on their plan, needs, and preferences.
Matchmaker for Behavioral Health experience:
- Member contacts Premera customer service or case management.
- Premera representative completes member intake over the phone.
- Matchmaker team curates a list of providers that is delivered to the member in three to four business days.
Matchmaker for Behavioral Health is currently included in fully insured and OptiFlex large groups (51+ employees). Beginning January 1, 2024, Matchmaker for Behavioral Health will expand to fully insured and OptiFlex small groups and will be available for purchase for self-funded groups of all sizes.
