Over the following year, existing small groups will be onboarding to our enrollment center. The enrollment center makes it easy for you to manage eligibility changes and plan elections for members.

    What you need to know
    • The enrollment center requires a Social Security Number (SSN) for each member. This helps with enrollment as well as 1095-B reporting.
    • Members who do not have an SSN listed in the system won’t have their information uploaded to the enrollment center during their group’s onboarding process.
    • Not submitting SSNs for group members could cause a delay in the group’s onboarding or affect the member’s benefits until we can obtain their SSN.
    • Premera will reach out to groups with members who do not have an SSN listed in the system.
    Next steps
    • Submit the requested SSNs promptly when/if you receive a request to do so.
    • If you do not receive a request from Premera to submit SSNs, there is nothing more you need to do.

    How will you be notified?

If your group has members without an SSN listed in the system, Premera will reach out to the benefits administrator to request these important details.

    Have questions?

If you have any questions, please reach out to your designated Premera account team.
