And now, your employees can use Premera Pulse to estimate out-of-pocket costs for procedures and doctors’ visits* before they step foot in the office!
This new feature is available for group members in Alaska only.

Are you using Premera Pulse to help you use your health plan? If so, we have good news, you can now use Premera Pulse to estimate your out-of-pocket costs before stepping into your doctor’s office for a primary care visit.
Here’s how to get an estimate:
- Log into Premera Pulse
- Select Find a doctor. Type in your existing doctor or see doctors or specialists in your area.
- Click on the doctor’s profile in the finder. Here you will find specific information on the physician including location, contact information and specialty area, and if they are in network.
- Click on the estimate procedure cost button. This will open a new window where you can select from a menu of options to help estimate your cost.
