    • Nov. 1, 2016: Open enrollment begins for individual health plans
    • Dec. 23, 2016: Deadline to apply if you want coverage to start on Jan. 1, 2017
    • Jan. 1, 2017: Earliest coverage date for plans purchased during this open enrollment
    • Jan. 23, 2017: Deadline to apply if you want coverage to start on Feb. 1, 2017
    • Jan. 31, 2017: Open enrollment ends for 2017 plans
