    Telehealth options

Get care when and where you need it—and right now that’s at home.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms or need care for a cold, allergies, a rash or other non-emergency situations, please use telehealth first to avoid possible exposure. We've expanded options for you:

    • Call your in-network primary care doctor's office.
    • 24-Hour NurseLine is available at no charge. Just call the number on the back of your member ID card to reach medical professionals.
    • Doctor On Demand is a video chat with a doctor.
    • 98point6 is a text-based primary care app.
    • Talkspace offers virtual access to licensed therapists.

      Please note:
    • Medicare members should call NurseLine or their doctor.
    • Only in-person clinics or provider visits can diagnose and test for the COVID-19 virus. Telehealth services may be able to assist with a review of symptoms and recommendations on next steps. They can also diagnose common illnesses, prescribe medication, and order lab tests at local facilities.
    • On most plans, Telehealth costshares will be waived for in-network providers. If a telehealth provider charges you a copay, deductible, or coinsurance for telehealth services through June 30, Premera will reimburse eligible members when the claim is processed.

    Medications

We understand the need to fill your prescriptions without going out. You have options.

We have adjusted our "refill too soon" policy to ensure customers have needed medications on hand. Just let your pharmacist know that you want an added supply at home based on COVID-19. You also have access to 90 day supplies by mail order. There are some exceptions to this policy, so ask your pharmacist.
