Don’t Forget to Respond to the Provider Directory Survey

  • October 17, 2019

To ensure the information in our directory is accurate, Premera regularly surveys our network of providers. A survey was sent in September and it’s important to review it for accuracy, acknowledge its accuracy or indicate any fields that need to be updated, and send it back to us, even if you don’t have any changes to report. This survey:

    • Ensures that our members can easily find and contact you to make an appointment for the care they need.
    • Is in compliance with Washington State’s Brennen’s Law (HB1099) effective January 1, 2020. The bill is intended to make it easier for patients to find the behavioral health and substance use disorder care they need. It requires health plans to post specific information about panel status of mental health and substance abuse providers, among other things.
    • Will helps people find providers that offer Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as part of their care plan for substance use disorder. This is new information that Premera will make available to our members on our directory, so it’s particularly important that we receive your survey response.

We ask that you return this important survey as quickly as possible so we can update our directory to support our members.
