When submitting coordination of benefits (COB) information to Premera, avoid using highlighter pens to mark up explanation of benefits (EOB) documents from other insurance carriers.
When the documents are imaged, the highlighted area isn’t readable. We then must call the other carrier, adding to processing time for your claim.
Notes in ink pen or pencil work better with our imaging software.
