AIM Specialty Health® to Manage Additional Clinical Reviews

Effective May 1, AIM Specialty Health^® will start managing Medicare Advantage member prior authorization requests for musculoskeletal pain management and outpatient radiation oncology services. This expands the list of services AIM will manage for our Medicare Advantage members. Currently, AIM manages reviews for high tech radiology procedures.

• View the complete AIM code list to see which codes require a prior authorization. You can find the list on our Policies and Prior Authorization resources page.
• Submit musculoskeletal pain management and outpatient radiation oncology procedure authorization requests via the AIM provider website at www.aimspecialtyhealth.com.

If you’ve already submitted a request and received approval for the added services you don’t need to resubmit. It’s still approved.
