Beginning January 1, 2020, Premera and United Concordia Dental (UCD) will work together to meet the needs of our growing dental membership by allowing some Premera members to see a dentist in UCD’s network, in addition to Premera’s own network of dentists. This change won’t affect Premera’s in-network dentists as our current contracts and fee schedules will remain intact and unchanged. This is also true in situations when a dentist is contracted with both Premera and UCD, as we will apply the Premera contract and rates when processing claims.
We’ll also continue to welcome new dentists to join our network by following our normal process.
