As a reminder, AIM Specialty Health® (AIM) conducts prior authorization reviews for all applicable genetic testing services performed on or after January 4, 2019.
Some genetic tests managed by AIM require genetic counseling. Certified genetic counselors are encouraged to register in OptiNet to be visible to ordering providers to select when a service requires genetic counseling.
