An Adult Vision Plan can be pared with any small group medical plan.
For the past 10 years, Premera has mailed creditable coverage notices to identified members on behalf of our groups with pharmacy plans prior to the Medicare annual open enrollment period. Starting this year, we will no longer provide this courtesy mailing.
For the 2016 fall notification period
Employers will need to send the notifications required by the Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) to their Medicare-eligible employees and dependents. This act requires employers to let their Medicare-eligible employees and dependents know whether the prescription drug coverage in their employer health plan pays on average as much as the standard Medicare prescription drug coverage.

Small group creditable coverage status report
The small group creditable coverage status report tests current 2016 plans against 2017 Medicare Part D threshold amounts.
