Navigating different options for medical care can be puzzling; especially in Alaska where treatment costs can be higher than anywhere else in the country. To help shed some light on this complex topic, Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska is hosting a public town hall meeting Tuesday, April 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westmark Hotel in Fairbanks, AK. This community meeting is free and open to anyone who wants to get questions answered about how health insurance works and also learn ways to get the most out of their health plan.

“Navigating your healthcare coverage should be simple and straightforward,” said Jim Grazko, President of Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska. “This meeting is a chance to connect more directly with the Fairbanks community by having a casual conversation and providing people with the knowledge and latest tools available for making informed decisions about their healthcare,” he said.
