In just a few weeks, we're launching several major enhancements and display features to our online eligibility and benefits tool, and adding a new code-check tool on our provider website.
By updating this frequently used tool and adding a new one, we’re supporting our company promise to make healthcare work better. You won't have to call us for these common requests and you can work more efficiently:
- Newly simplified eligibility and benefits display gives you information that's easier to read and you can find out if a service is covered for a patient without having to call Premera for verification.
- New code-check tool helps you quickly check codes to see if they require review and get on with caring for your patients, without having to wade through a lengthy document.
The new code-check tool gives you general information about whether or not a code requires review. For member-specific information, you’ll need to use our prior authorization tool. The code-check tool will be available on our non-secure provider website and when you sign in to our secure dashboard.

These tool updates are a direct result of provider feedback through user testing at provider offices, phone calls, and our Premera Listens online survey.
