On December 28, 2015, the IRS issued a delay in the due dates for the 2015 Form 1095-B and 1095-C reporting requirements. The extension applies to insurers, employers and certain other providers of minimum essential coverage.
Note that Premera will issue our Form 1095-Bs to individuals on fully insured plans by end of January or February, unless they have chosen to receive it electronically. Members on Exchange plans will receive Form 1095-A directly from the Exchange.
Effective November 20,2015, Fairbanks Cancer Care Physicians has decided to no longer contract with Premera. After spending several months in negotiations, we are disappointed by this development.
Members who have received treatment within the past 24 months will receive a letter to help them understand their options and how this change affects their treatment. In addition, group administrators will be informed about FCCP and the mailing to their employees.
